The officer alleges that he was not involved in the creation of the group and that officers from various communities were added to it. On April 15, 2024, the remains of two missing Kansas moms, Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley, were discovered. The women had vanished on March 30, and authorities have now charged four individuals with their murder and kidnapping. The investigation has revealed that the suspects are members of an anti-government religious group known as God’s Misfits. Details about the custody battle involving Butler’s children, the discovery of the victims’ vehicle, and the arrests of the suspects have also been released.
Paul Grice, 31, has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murders of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley in Oklahoma. Grice is the fifth member of the anti-government, religious group known as ‘God’s Misfits’ to be charged in the case. The other four suspects, Tifany Machel Adams, Tad Bert Cullum, Cole Earl Twombly, and Cora Twombly, were arrested on April 13. Butler and Kelley were reported missing on March 30 after their car was found abandoned in rural Texas County. Their bodies were discovered the following day.
