Indian Navy Airlifts Injured Chinese Mariner from Bulk Carrier

The Indian Navy successfully airlifted a critically injured Chinese mariner from a bulk carrier off the Mumbai coast. The Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) in Mumbai received a distress call on July 23, reporting a severe injury to the mariner. A Seaking helicopter from Indian Naval Air Station INS Shikra was dispatched and successfully airlifted the patient despite challenging weather conditions. The mariner was then transported to a hospital for further treatment.
