A massive fire broke out in a high-rise building in south Mumbai’s Byculla area late at night, leaving several residents stranded on upper floors. The blaze erupted around 11:42 pm on the 10th floor of the multi-storey tower in the Khatao Mill Compound. Although no injuries have been reported yet, the exact number of people trapped is still unknown. The fire has been confined to the 10th floor flat, but smoke has filled the entire floor and multiple individuals are believed to be stranded on higher floors. At least eight fire tenders and other fire vehicles have been rushed to the scene, and rescue operations are ongoing.
