Trey Hendrickson Requests Trade from Cincinnati Bengals, Considers Retirement

Cincinnati Bengals star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson has requested a trade from the team and has hinted at possible retirement if his request is not granted. Hendrickson’s agent, Harold Lewis, stated that the player is seeking a long-term contract offer, but if that is not forthcoming, he may even consider stepping away from the game. The Bengals, however, have no intention of trading Hendrickson, viewing him as a key part of their Super Bowl aspirations. Despite having two years remaining on his current contract, Hendrickson has expressed dissatisfaction with his financial situation after an impressive season with 17.5 sacks.
