Earthquake Hits Sonbhadra District in Uttar Pradesh

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale struck the Sonbhadra district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, June 2. The earthquake occurred at around 3:49 PM, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). No casualties or damages have been reported so far, but the earthquake prompted immediate responses from the local administration. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at Lat 24.61 N and Long 83.06 E, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
