Michael Kors has made a grand return to Rodeo Drive with the opening of a new 1,500-square-foot collection store, marking the brand’s first North American location to showcase its updated conceptual design. The luxurious two-floor store features walnut shelving, antique brass, gold Calacatta marble, and oxidized maple, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lower-level study offers a minimalistic space adorned with neutral tones, showcasing the Spring-Summer 2024 collection, including the black chantilly lace bodysuit and matching skirt. Michael Kors expressed his excitement about the store’s return to Beverly Hills, a location synonymous with glamour and sophistication. The opening comes amid news of Capri Holdings Ltd.’s merger with Tapestry Inc. being blocked, and follows a series of celebrity endorsements by Grace Elizabeth, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, and Blake Lively. To celebrate the store’s opening, a private event with dinner and a live performance is planned for VIP guests in June.
