Rohini Acharya, Daughter of Lalu Prasad, Declared as Richest Candidate in Bihar’s Phase 5 Polls

Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, is the richest candidate in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha election in Bihar, with declared assets worth ₹36 crore. The other wealthy candidates include Congress’ Ajay Nishad (₹29 crore) and BJP’s Raj Bhushan Choudhary (₹16 crore), both contesting from the Muzaffarpur seat. In total, 80 candidates are vying for votes in five constituencies on May 20th, including 13 with serious criminal charges and 15 with general criminal cases. Notably, Saran, once an RJD stronghold, is witnessing a shift in dynamics with the fielding of Rohini Acharya against BJP’s Rajiv Pratap Rudy and LJP (Ram Vilas)’ Chirag Paswan facing off against RJD’s Shiv Chandra Ram in Hajipur.
