Indore Airport to Undergo Runway Repairs, Night Flights Suspended for a Year

Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport will be closed for night operations from February 2025 for a year as the runway undergoes major repairs. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) will invest ₹ 25.27 crore to replace the runway surface with a new layer, similar to road resurfacing. While minor repairs are ongoing, this full resurfacing is necessary due to the wear and tear from continuous flight operations.
