China has maintained its political support for Russia amid the Ukraine conflict and continues to export non-lethal items that contribute to the Russian war effort.
Sharad Pawar took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, criticizing him for focusing on criticizing others rather than highlighting his government’s achievements. Pawar praised former Prime Ministers like Jawaharlal Nehru and pointed out Modi’s lack of mention of his own government’s accomplishments. He accused the PM of attempting to instill fear and emulating Russian President Vladimir Putin. Pawar also apologized for supporting Navneet Rana in the 2019 elections, acknowledging it as a mistake he now seeks to correct.
