Former Rutgers Guard Jillian Huerter Transfers to Fairfield University

Former Rutgers women’s basketball guard Jillian Huerter has transferred to Fairfield University, a powerhouse program in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Huerter, a freshman sharpshooter, averaged 6.9 points and made 57 three-pointers last season. She joins a Fairfield team that is coming off a historic 31-2 campaign, culminating in an NCAA tournament berth. The Stags went undefeated in conference play, winning both the regular season and tournament championships.
