The auction will see six teams vying for top players, including Ben Stokes, Kane Williamson, and Joe Root, to finalize their squads before the league starts on January 9th.
The International League T20 (ILT20) organizers are considering a new window for the tournament to avoid clashes with other major leagues, particularly the Big Bash League and SA20. The league is also focused on growing its fan base, particularly in India, and attracting more spectators to the UAE. They are aiming for a separate window to establish the league as a destination venue and capitalize on the tourism potential of Dubai.
