Bicyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Saginaw County Collision

An 18-year-old bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a car in Spaulding Township, Saginaw County, on Monday, April 22. The incident occurred around 4:35 p.m. on East Road and Banner Street. According to police, the bicyclist and a driver in a Chevrolet Malibu were both heading north on East Road when the driver attempted to overtake the cyclist. Witnesses сообщили, that the bicyclist suddenly veered into the path of the car, resulting in the collision. The bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. The driver, a 65-year-old Chesaning Township woman, was unharmed. The crash remains under investigation.
