South Australian footy player Sam May, 24, has been placed in an induced coma after suffering serious injuries on Sunday night. May was found injured in Port Lincoln at around 9 am on Monday, after being separated from his West Adelaide teammates on a night they were celebrating their first win of the season. He was treated at Port Lincoln Hospital before being flown to Royal Adelaide, where he remains in a fight for his life in the ICU. May’s family and the West Adelaide Football Club have expressed their gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
