As the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) strives to regain its grip on the Sangrur parliamentary constituency, which it lost in the 2022 Lok Sabha byelection, the path to victory in the 2024 general election seems arduous. Residents of Sangrur, the stronghold of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, express dissatisfaction with the unmet promises of the AAP government. Unfulfilled assurances regarding Aam Aadmi clinics, minimum support price (MSP) for crops, and eradicating the drug menace have left some voters disillusioned.
