Restaurateur Omid Zahedi is expanding his culinary empire to the South Bay with a new wood-fired eatery in Santa Clara’s Rivermark Plaza. The restaurant, set to debut this summer, will offer a tantalizing menu of wood-fired rotisserie chicken, salmon, ribs, prime rib, and pizza, alongside house-baked pies. Zahedi’s culinary journey began in the fast-food pizza business, but his passion for ‘the new wave of fine pizza’ led him to launch Rise Pizzeria in Burlingame in 2017.
