Saskatchewan Teachers Resume Job Action Over Classroom Sizes and Student Supports

Saskatchewan teachers have resumed job action in an effort to pressure the provincial government back into bargaining over class size and student support issues. Saskatchewan Teachers Overwhelmingly Vote for Renewed Job Sanctions Mandate

Saskatchewan teachers have overwhelmingly voted in favor of renewing the mandate for job sanctions from the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF), giving the union’s Executive and Teachers’ Bargaining Committee authority to implement necessary sanctions until an agreement is reached. The move comes after teachers rejected the government’s final offer for a provincial collective bargaining agreement.
