Veteran Indian goalkeeper Savita Punia has signed with Soorma Hockey Club for the upcoming Women’s Hockey India League 2024-25 season. The 34-year-old former Indian captain was acquired by the Haryana franchise owned by JSW Sports for Rs 20 lakh. Punia’s addition strengthens Soorma’s roster as they aim for glory in the highly competitive league.
