Archaeologists Discover Enormous 7,000-Year-Old Settlement in Remote Serbia

Archaeologists working in a remote area of Serbia have uncovered the remains of a vast 7,000-year-old settlement, shedding light on the lives of early farming communities in southeastern Europe. Located near the village of Jarkovac, the Neolithic settlement spans approximately 32 acres, making it one of the largest known settlements from that period. The discovery was made after a local tip led the researchers to the site.
