The Arizona Diamondbacks have added infielder Sergio Alcantara and left-hander Joe Jacques to their organization in separate transactions. Alcantara was acquired from the Pittsburgh Pirates for cash considerations, while Jacques was claimed off waivers from the Boston Red Sox. Both players have been assigned to Triple-A Reno.
