Shark Tank India investor Namita Thapar has called on the Indian government to learn from Singapore’s strategies to reduce sugar consumption. In a video posted on Instagram, she suggested implementing educational programs in schools, guidelines for sugar content in drinks, and mandatory labeling of sugar amounts. She also advocated for restrictions on advertisements of sugary drinks to combat diabetes. Meanwhile, Thapar celebrated the successful IPO of her company, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, with a heartfelt message on social media.
