YOKO MINAMI, a freelance makeup artist known for her edgy aesthetic, brought her artistry to SHINYAKOZUKA’s 2025 Spring/Summer collection, drawing inspiration from the designer’s whimsical絵本 ‘iro o wasureta machi’. The makeup, as fantastical as the collection itself, took cues from the book’s contrasting worlds of black and white, blue, and vibrant color, showcasing MINAMI’s talent and teamwork.

SHINYAKOZUKA unveiled their 10th anniversary collection, titled “picturesque or die,” in a captivating show at the National Stadium. Drawing inspiration from a remastered version of designer Shinya Kozuka’s childhood絵本 (picture book), “いろをわすれたまち” (The Town That Forgot Color), the collection showcased a vibrant exploration of color and imagination.
