A major dockworker strike in the United States has entered its third day, causing long lines of container ships to queue up outside major ports and threatening shortages of goods. The strike, the biggest in nearly half a century, has shut down 36 ports, including New York, Baltimore, and Houston, impacting a range of containerized goods.
