Universal Orlando has just revealed the exciting details of its upcoming sister-hotel venture set to debut at the Orlando resort in early 2025. These new establishments, named Stella Nova and Terra Luna, are currently in the works adjacent to the designated space for Universal’s Epic Universe, the highly anticipated fourth theme park slated for a 2025 opening.
Joining the existing Helios Grand Hotel, these two additions will enrich the hospitality offerings within the Epic Universe resort area. Operated jointly by Loews Hotels & Co, the same group behind other esteemed Universal Hotels like Portofino Bay, Hard Rock Hotel, and Royal Pacific, both Stella Nova and Terra Luna will contribute a combined total of 1,500 guest rooms to the Universal Orlando Resort, all at an accessible price point.
Although both properties will share an overarching outer-space theme, each will offer its own unique experience. Here’s a glimpse of what awaits guests:
**Universal Stella Nova Resort**
Scheduled to open its doors on January 21, 2025, the Stella Nova Resort promises to encapsulate the grandeur of the universe with its vibrant teal and purple color palette. Each guestroom, designed as double-queen accommodations capable of accommodating up to four guests, will feature spaceship-style windows, providing an unparalleled view of the cosmos beyond. Stella Nova will feature the Cosmos Café and Market, offering convenient quick-service dining, alongside the Galaxy Bar and Grill for poolside refreshments. Additionally, guests can enjoy the Nova Bar situated in the hotel’s lobby.
**Universal Terra Luna Resort**
Terra Luna Resort is scheduled to open its doors on February 25, 2025. Universal says Terra Luna “represents another world within Universal Orlando – inviting guests to explore the unknown and step onto planets that have yet to be discovered,” with a color scheme of greens and gold. Just like Stella Nova, Terra Luna is going to have “spaceship-style windows.” At Terra Luna, guests can indulge in the delights of Omega Café and Market, a convenient quick-service dining option, while enjoying poolside refreshments at the Moonrise Bar and Moonrise Grill. The Luna Bar in the lobby will tantalize guests with its array of specialty cocktails.
Both hotels will offer distinctive Universal experiences, boasting expansive 10,000 sq. ft. pools complete with hot tubs and fire pits, as well as fitness centers, game rooms, rec rooms, and official Universal Orlando Resort Stores. Just like other accommodations within the property, a stay at either Stella Nova or Terra Luna will grant guests access to exclusive park benefits, including early park admission, convenient bus service to the theme parks, complimentary merchandise delivery, and more.
