Slipknot will perform a special one-off gig this week at Pappy + Harriet’s barbecue bar in Pioneertown, California, marking the band’s first show of the year and debut with their new, yet-to-be-confirmed drummer. The intimate event, attended by only 350 attendees, is sold out, but proceeds will benefit the Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter and BOYS & GIRLS CLUB of the Hi Desert.

The Sick New World Festival is back this Saturday, April 27th, and the set times have been announced. Headliners Slipknot and System Of A Down will be joined by Alice In Chains, Bring Me The Horizon, Danny Elfman, and A Perfect Circle. The festival will feature five stages and will run into the wee hours of the night.
