In a recent interview, ex-Vigil Games founders Joe Madureira and Ryan Stefanelli revealed a pivotal decision in their careers: they chose to develop Darksiders over a Sly Cooper game for the PSP. The Sly Cooper game, titled ‘Shadows in Time,’ would have involved time travel, meeting Sly’s ancestors, and fighting a time anomaly. However, Vigil’s passion project, Darksiders, ultimately won out, leading to a partnership with THQ and the creation of the beloved franchise.
