Alstom has won a significant contract to supply 35 additional next-generation RER NG trains to enhance the RER E line in the Île-de-France region. This €520 million order builds on a successful partnership with SNCF Voyageurs and Île-de-France Mobilités, significantly expanding the modern RER NG fleet.
Sabre Corporation, a leading travel technology provider, has integrated SNCF Voyageurs’ low-cost rail service, OUIGO Essentiel, into its Rail 2.0 platform. This integration marks Sabre as the first Global Distribution System (GDS) to offer access to this budget-friendly train service, providing travel agencies with a streamlined and cost-effective option for their clients traveling within France.
