Following the release of the Hema Committee report, exposing sexual harassment and discrimination in the Malayalam film industry, actress Sonia Malhar has come forward with her own disturbing experiences. The government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to address the issue, while the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has seen resignations in response to the allegations.
