Two Fatal Crashes Rock South Brunswick

Two separate crashes in South Brunswick, Middlesex County, claimed the lives of two individuals on Tuesday morning. The incidents occurred on Cranbury-South River Road and Route 1 North, resulting in the closure of southbound lanes and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedies.

Two Crashes Cause Traffic Delays in South Brunswick

A pair of crashes on Tuesday morning, one on Route 1 and one on Route 535, have resulted in traffic delays in South Brunswick. The crash on Route 1 occurred around 8 a.m., leaving only one lane open on the northbound side north of New Road. The second crash, which happened before 6:30 a.m., has caused Route 535 south to be closed between Stults and Thatcher roads. As of 8:15 a.m., Route 535 remains closed while the Route 1 crash site is being cleared.
