SpaceX Delays Polaris Dawn Mission Launch to Aug. 27 for Preflight Checks

SpaceX has announced a one-day delay to the Polaris Dawn mission, pushing the launch to August 27th. The delay is to allow for additional preflight checks, ensuring readiness for the historic mission. The Polaris Dawn mission, led by Shift4 Payments CEO Jared Isaacman, aims to conduct the first-ever commercial spacewalk and will see a crew of four travel further from Earth than anyone in over 50 years.
