The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) have released footage showcasing the destruction of a Russian T-72 tank and other military assets in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. Utilizing first-person view (FPV) drones, the Ukrainian forces reportedly eliminated 11 Russian soldiers in the assault. The Donetsk region has been a focus of intense fighting in recent days, with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s forces continuing to attack the town of Chasiv Yar. However, the Ukrainian military has made significant gains in countering these advances. The SSO’s drone footage captures the precision strike that destroyed the T-72 tank, valued at several million dollars, along with a 2S6 ‘Tunguska’ anti-aircraft missile gun complex and an armored combat vehicle. This latest success by the Ukrainian SOF underscores the effectiveness of their combat UAV operators and adds to the growing list of Russian assets destroyed by their drones.
