Splitgate 2 introduces three factions, each with distinct abilities. Aeros focuses on speed and quick reloads, Meridian offers support with Hypersight and Time Dome, while Sabrask provides offensive control with Smart Walls. These factions will significantly impact gameplay alongside the series’ signature portal-based combat.

The popular multiplayer shooter Splitgate is making a comeback with a sequel, Splitgate 2, scheduled for release in 2025. This time, the game will feature faction-based portal gameplay and a complete overhaul in graphics and gameplay, built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5.
