Noah Lyles on Track for Historic Sprint Treble at Paris Olympics

American sprinter Noah Lyles qualified for the 200m final at the Paris Olympics, keeping alive his bid to become the first athlete since Usain Bolt to win the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay at the same Games. Lyles finished second in his semi-final behind Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo, who struck a psychological blow to the American. Lyles’s dominant performances in the 100m and 200m put him on the path to emulate Bolt’s historic feat in Rio 2016.
