A fifth person has been charged over the fatal crash involving an allegedly stolen ute in Alice Springs. The 18-year-old man was arrested in Laramba and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The crash occurred on March 8 when the ute rolled onto a passenger who was hanging out the window, resulting in critical injuries. The victim later succumbed to his injuries at Alice Springs Hospital. The driver of the vehicle was also charged with dangerous driving causing death and hit-and-run causing death.
