On Monday, Mumbai police announced the alleged suicide of Bollywood actor Noor Malabika Das, 31, in her Oshiwara flat. An investigation revealed that she hanged herself from the ceiling fan on Tuesday evening. Noor’s decomposed body was found on Friday evening after neighbors reported a foul smell from her apartment. No suicide note was found, and an accidental death report (ADR) has been registered. Noor, originally from Assam, had worked in hospitality in Cairo before entering Bollywood. She had roles in the web series ‘The Trial,’ ‘Siskiyaan,’ ‘Walkaman Upaya,’ and ‘Charamsukh.’ Beyond acting, she was an avid singer, writer, and cook, and she held a passion for fitness. She had a crown tattoo on her wrist with her name beneath it, which symbolized her unique identity and journey. According to police, Noor suffered from depression and was taking medication.
