SWISS Airlines Grounds Aircraft Due to Engine Issues: Summer Operations Impacted

SWISS International Air Lines is facing operational challenges this summer due to engine problems affecting its Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft. The airline is grounding six aircraft equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines, which have been recalled due to defective components. While the airline’s A220 fleet is not affected by this particular issue, it faces separate engine problems with PW1500G engines. Despite these challenges, SWISS remains committed to passenger safety and minimizing disruptions.
