Before landing the lead role in James Gunn’s ‘Superman,’ David Corenswet auditioned for Adam Warlock in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Corenswet was ultimately cast as Superman, and despite industry strikes, the film remains on track for a July 11, 2025 release. The film will introduce a young Superman navigating his Kryptonian and Earthly identities and will feature various DC characters played by Nathan Fillion, Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Anthony Carrigan, and María Gabriela.
