Baramati Battle: Supriya Sule & Sunetra Pawar Face-Off in Maharashtra’s Third Phase Polls

Maharashtra’s third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 will witness a fierce contest in Baramati, with two members of the powerful Sharad Pawar family vying for votes. NCP leader Supriya Sule, Sharad Pawar’s daughter, is facing off against her sister-in-law, Sunetra Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister’s wife. The constituency also features royal scions Shahu Chhatrapati (Congress) from Kolhapur and Udayanraje Bhosale (BJP) from Satara. Union minister Narayan Rane will contest from Sindhudurg-Ratnagiri on a BJP ticket, while Congress rebel Vishal Patil is running as an independent candidate.
