PM Modi’s Swearing-In Ceremony: Foreign Dignitaries and Asia’s First Loco Pilot Among Invitees

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s oath-taking ceremony on June 9 will feature a distinguished guest list that embodies India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy. Several foreign leaders from neighboring countries, including Sri Lanka’s President Wickremesinghe, Maldives’ President Muizzu, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Nepal’s Prime Minister Prachanda, Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tobgay, Mauritius’ Prime Minister Jugnauth, and Seychelles’ Vice-President Ahmed Afif will grace the event. Notably, Asia’s first loco pilot, Surekha Yadav, will also be in attendance. The ceremony will underscore India’s commitment to fostering strong regional ties and the ‘SAGAR’ vision.
