Kejriwal to Surrender on June 2, Vows to Fight Harassment in Jail

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced his intention to surrender on June 2, despite facing potential harassment in jail. Kejriwal, who was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court for Lok Sabha election campaigning, stated that he is proud to be going to jail for protecting the country from dictatorship. He also revealed that he has lost 6 kg in jail and is awaiting further medical tests to rule out underlying medical conditions.

18 Naxalites, Including Women Commanders, Surrender in Dantewada

In a significant development, 18 Naxalites, including a militia platoon section commander and three women, have laid down their arms in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. The surrendered individuals were identified as Hidma Oyam, the Hurrepal Panchayat Militia Platoon section commander, Sambati Oyam, a deputy commander of HPMP, Gangi Madkam, vice president of Kakadi Panchayat Krantikari Mahila Adivasi Sangthan, and Hungi Oyam, a member of the cultural wing of CPI (Maoists).
