He clarifies that his absence was not a publicity stunt and that he went on a spiritual journey, returning home after 25 days. Singh also refutes claims that he used his disappearance to gain attention, stating he could have easily done so through interviews or social media.

Gurucharan Singh, who portrayed Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular TV serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,’ has been reported missing since April 22. Rumors on social media suggested he was battling depression, but his on-screen son, Samay Shah, has denied these claims. Shah stated that Singh was not depressed, was professionally and personally optimistic, and was working on a Punjabi film. CCTV footage from April 28 shows Singh crossing a traffic intersection in New Delhi’s Palam area with a backpack. The Delhi Police and the All Indian Cine Workers Association are actively working to locate Singh and have appealed for public assistance.
