Tallink Grupp has expanded its partnership with Finnish design house Marimekko, bringing the popular Unikko pattern to Commodore Balcony cabins on the Silja Symphony vessel. Nordic shipping giant Tallink Grupp has achieved a significant 13% increase in energy efficiency on its Baltic Queen vessel after upgrading its propeller blades. The upgrade, which involved replacing the blades with new, innovative ones designed by Kongsberg Maritime, has resulted in reduced fuel consumption, emissions, and underwater noise. This achievement has also led to a higher Environmental Ship Index (ESI) score for the Baltic Queen, qualifying it for financial discounts at the Port of Tallinn.
