The Chennai-based franchise Tamil Thalaivas has named Sagar as their captain for the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League season 11. The defender, who was retained by the team, will lead the Thalaivas into the new season after a strong performance in the previous season, despite missing some matches due to injury. The team has also appointed a two-coach system with Udaya Kumar as the chief coach and Dharmaraj Cheralathan as the strategy coach. The Thalaivas secured the services of raider Sachin for a record-breaking price at the PKL 11 auction.
