Tanker Involved in Singapore Collision Intercepted in Malaysian Waters

A tanker that fled the scene of a collision off Singapore has been intercepted by Malaysian authorities. The Ceres I, a supertanker known to have carried Iranian oil in the past, was tracked down in Malaysian waters and towed to a safe location for investigation. The collision with the Singapore-flagged tanker Hafnia Nile occurred near Pedra Branca, with both vessels now being investigated by the marine department.
