Eastern Airways has launched a new daily service between Teesside Airport and Aberdeen, reconnecting North-East England with Scotland. The flights will initially run daily on weekdays and Sundays, with plans to expand to twice daily from September 9th. Eastern Airways previously operated this route from 2001 to 2022 and is returning to the Aberdeen service to complement its seasonal summer service to Jersey from Teesside and its recent deployment of a 100-seat Embraer 190 to manage the KLM Cityhopper service to Amsterdam. With these expansions, Eastern Airways now handles up to 54 arrivals and departures weekly at Teesside Airport.
