India Budget Allocates Funds for Temple Development, Aims to Boost Tourism

India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced significant funding in the Union Budget 2024 for the development of temple corridors in Bihar and Odisha, aiming to transform them into world-class pilgrim and tourist destinations. The Kashi Model will be implemented in Bodh Gaya, while Rajgir will also receive comprehensive development initiatives. The government aims to enhance tourism infrastructure and promote religious and cultural heritage sites across the country.
