A WestJet flight bound for Calgary from Terrace, B.C., was forced to return to the airport shortly after takeoff due to an unruly passenger. According to the Terrace RCMP, the male passenger allegedly consumed an illegal substance before boarding, becoming disruptive and exhibiting signs of paranoia. Despite attempts by other passengers to restrain him, the man was arrested by police upon the plane’s landing. He was taken into custody under the Mental Health Act and transported to a local hospital for assessment.
