Textron: Undervalued Conglomerate with Solid Buying Opportunity

Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) is a diversified conglomerate with prominent brands like Bell and Cessna. After a recent 10% dip due to a slight Q1 earnings miss, its stock is trading at attractive multiples. Despite being undervalued compared to industry peers, Textron enjoys significant market shares, especially in defense and aviation. The company’s strong balance sheet, consistent share buybacks, and potential for business division spinoffs further enhance its investment appeal. Analysts project solid earnings growth in the coming years, and technical indicators suggest an oversold condition. A buying strategy at or near the 200-day moving average and via put option sales is recommended.
