Local trains are running approximately 15-20 minutes behind schedule, but the situation is expected to improve by 10:30 hrs. A 63-hour mega block for platform widening at Thane and a 36-hour block for platform extension at CSMT will also take place, affecting local and long-distance train services. Commuters are advised to avoid unnecessary train travel, and additional bus services will be operated by MSRTC and BEST.
