Darktrace Accepts $5 Billion Take-Private Deal from Thoma Bravo

Darktrace, a leading cybersecurity firm headquartered in Cambridge, UK, has agreed to go private in a deal valued at $5 billion. The acquisition, led by private equity giant Thoma Bravo, represents a 44% premium on Darktrace’s average share price over the past three months. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, subject to shareholder approval.
