Moviegoers have been flocking to cinemas to revisit Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, echoing the response to Tobey Maguire’s return in ‘No Way Home.’ This has revived demands for the star and director to reunite for a fourth and final Spidey movie, nearly 15 years after it was canceled. In a recent interview with TheWrap, Raimi was asked what a potential ‘Spider-Man 4’ would look like after all this time. He mentioned the need to determine Tobey Maguire’s character’s journey and the obstacles he must overcome for personal growth. Additionally, he stated that the villain should embody those obstacles but didn’t have a specific antagonist in mind. Raimi’s original plans for ‘Spider-Man 4’ involved John Malkovich as the Vulture and Anne Hathaway as Black Cat. Despite the enthusiasm for a fourth installment, Raimi confirmed that he doesn’t have any plans to work with Marvel anytime soon, although he would be interested in the opportunity. Currently, Tom Holland’s fourth ‘Spider-Man’ movie remains without a director.
